Self Serve

We were delighted when we secured the lightly raced 4YO sprinter SELF SERVE. She’s raced 8 times for 1 win and 2 seconds in just two race campaigns with Danny O’brien.

SELF SERVE was one of just 5 horses on the short list for this weeks auctions. When making our list we work closely with our vet and a number of industry contacts. Where possible we make direct contact with staff at these stables including track work riders and jockeys that have ridden these horses.

“She ticked every box which is rare when seeking tried horses. She won her maiden in strong fashion at her first start. She had to pin her ears back and chase that leader on a firm track. She then had to step up into BM64 grade where her next two starts showed she was well and truly up to it. In her second campaign she matured nicely and ran some very nice seconds chasing nice horses.”

“She is all set to be head from Vic to South Australia this week ( Dec 10th ) . She will spend around 5 weeks at Rosden Park in South Australia in light work before coming up to Darwin in January.”
